Este nuevo cargo será compatible con su actual trabajo al frente del Museo Guggenheim Bilbao. Juan Ignacio Vidarte se ocupará de la puesta en marcha de nuevas iniciativas estratégicas para esta institución, entre ellas la del proyecto de museo en Abu Dhabi.
